Itinerary

  • Day 1 Solang Valley To Bakarthach
    • Your adventure begins in Solang Valley, a popular tourist destination near Manali.

    • You'll commence the trek from Solang Valley and head towards Bakarthach.

    • This initial stretch usually covers a distance that can vary, but it's roughly around 7-8 kilometres, taking about 4-5 hours to reach Bakarthach.

    • Set up camp at Bakarthach and enjoy the serene surroundings.

  • Day 2 Bakarthach To Beas Kund (4 km, approximately 2-3 hours)
    • On the second day, you'll trek from Bakarthach to your main destination, Beas Kund.

    • The distance to Beas Kund is relatively short, covering around 4 kilometres and taking approximately 2-3 hours to reach.

    • Beas Kund is a glacial lake and the source of the Beas River, making it a significant spot in the region.

    • Spend your day exploring the lake and its surroundings.

    • You'll camp near Beas Kund for the night.

  • Day 3 Beas Kund To Solang Valley (12 km, approximately 5-6 hours)
    • On the third day, you'll bid farewell to Beas Kund and start your trek back to Solang Valley.

    • The return journey covers a distance of around 12 kilometres and may take approximately 5-6 hours.

    • Finally, you'll arrive back at Solang Valley, marking the end of your Beas Kund Trek.
